Maisha Lubaba is the General Secretary of It's Humanity Foundation-IHF registered in both Bangladesh and UK as the NGO. Besides, she is also leading the livelihood program of IHF called Protibha. This program is focused in women empowerment and ensuring gender equality in all aspects. She is working as the community advocate in raising awareness on gender equality. Till date she supported 2500 women from the Marginalized community of Bangladesh by raising awareness and developing skills on art and crafts. In return the artisans are sending their children to school regularly thus she is taking a holistic approach to empower, ensuring education for the children, reducing child labor, and family empowerment. Besides, through ensuring education for the children she is also reducing the child marriage for the girls which is very high in Bangladesh and highest than any other South asian countries. Ensuring gender equality is the core of her work in the community development and development sector.
