Sophio Macharashvili is the founder of the Academy of Business and Technology, holding a PhD in business administration. As a business leader and professional, she actively participates in various organizations and associations, including the Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Private Colleges Association, and Infrastructure Construction Companies' Association. Empowering women is one of her top priorities, that’s why Sophio is an active member of the business federation Women for Tomorrow. Sophio has over 20 years of experience in the field of education. She established the Academy of Business and Technology in 2014. Furthermore, she has been serving as the President of the Consulting Association since 2019. In this role, Sophio provides consultancy to both students and adults to help them plan their careers and futures. She is also the author of numerous publications and actively participates in local and international conferences and seminars, for example: EuroWoman 2023 and the Commission on the Status of Women 67 (2023).
